An electrical substation in a metal enclosure

Definition:

These are stations in a metal enclosure with gas insulation, also called stations, GIS (Gas Insulated Switchgear) or armored stations. In order to reduce the size of the stations, where the air at normal pressure has been replaced by a pressurized gas, odorless, colorless, stable and non-flammable: sulfur hexafluoride SF6.
